We have used Tetrick in the past, but I'm not sure that we will again. The last week of my life has been consoled by the thoughts and actions of Tetricks. This family has been a sustainable post that we could lean on and get the directions and help that we needed during the lost of our recent loved one.

Tyler Tetrick is the son of Richard and Norma Tetrick and represents the fourth generation of licensed funeral directors in the Tetrick family. He is a licensed funeral director for Tetrick Funeral Home and he formerly practiced as a licensed CPA in the State of Tennessee with Price-Waterhouse-Coopers. Tyler is also a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Elizabethton, is a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow, and has served as the president of the Cemetery Association of Tennessee. Tyler and his wife Elizabeth have one a daughter, Charlotte and a son, Tristan. Tyler and his family attend Grace Fellowship in Johnson City.

Sandy had worked as a home health caregiver and was a member of the church her husband ministered, Pinecrest Christian Church, where she had taught the Children’s Church and she had also taught Children’s Church at Borderview Christian Church. She was a member of the Hampton Eastern Star, where she had attained numerous Eastern Star Certifications, and was a past Worthy Matron of the Social Order of Beuceant.

He served on the Mass Fatality Team for the 7-county area of Metro Atlanta and the Mass Fatality Planning Team for the state of Georgia. A sought-after speaker, he is well-experienced in media relations and has spoken widely to diverse funeral service and public groups and to television stations and newspaper outlets. The Tetrick’s commitment to compassionate personal service allowed the family to expand, by 1990, the Tetricks operated ten funeral homes in the tri-state area.

Crockett, 80, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away at his residence on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. David was born in Elizabeth City, N.C., to the late Charles McDaniel Crockett and Hannah Louise Crockett. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his beloved son, Christopher Charles Crockett. Thomas is from Lincolnton, GA, and is a 4th generation funeral director and cemeterian. He is a graduate of both Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service and The Georgia School of Ministry.
